James K. Gray, Director

Mr. Gray is an exploration geologist who, for over 50 years, was engaged in the oil and natural gas exploration business in Western Canada; formerly a co-founder of Canadian Hunter Exploration Ltd.; Director of Brookfield Asset Management Inc., Cequence Energy Ltd., and PHX Energy Services Corp. He was appointed Officer of the Order of Canada, awarded an Honourary Doctor of Law from University of Calgary, and the YMCA Fellowship of Honour. Mr. Gray recently retired as Chairman of the Atlanta Gold Inc. and he is a member of the audit committee.

Eric J. Berentsen, Director

Mr. Berentsen became a Director of the Company on June 29, 2006. He is also the President of Jipangu Exploration Inc. Mr. Berentsen has over 35 years of varied geological experience, including Chief Exploration Geologist for Getchell Gold Corp from 1990 to 1999 and for Apollo Gold Inc. from 2002 to 2005. Mr. Berentsen also served as Senior Mine Geologist from 1999 to 2002 for Placer Dome Inc. and has worked for Jipangu since its acquisition of the Exploration division of Apollo Gold in 2005.

John D. Jackson, Director

Mr. Jackson was appointed as a Director of the Company on January 22, 2008. He has extensive experience in business development, growth and operations and is widely recognized for his ability to transform ideas into successful enterprises. Mr. Jackson founded Jackson Oil, a wholesale and transportation company that delivers fuel to over 600 locations and Jacksons Food Stores, a nationally recognized chain of approximately 205 branded convenience stores which operate in several states in the U.S.

Kenji Sakai, Director

Mr. Sakai has been an Executive Director and General Manager of Jipangu Inc. since 2009. Prior to his position at Jipangu, he held senior partner, managing director and CEO positions at Asahi Shinwa Company (currently KPMG Azusa LLC), Asahi Ernst & Young Consulting, Arthur Andersen, KPMG Consulting (PwC Consulting), Huron Consulting and Maxis Consulting. He has over 10 years of experience as director and over 10 years of consulting experience including corporate strategy development, merger and acquisition and turn around management. He has co-authored articles in several industry journals including Japan Management Association and Toyo Keizai. Mr. Sakai earned an MBA from the University of Washington (Seattle, Washington). He is a member of the audit committee of Atlanta Gold Inc.
